Surf lifesavers rescue an average of 30 people every day. In a year, that leads to more than
11,000 lives saved.

We're on a mission to reduce preventable drowning deaths to zero. But as a charity, we need your help getting there. Workplace giving is a great way to get our volunteers the training and equipment they need to save lives.

Not only do you get the feel-good boost of giving back to the community, but you also get the added bonus of saving on tax. It’s a win-win!

Workplace giving is great for your workplace

Did you know that 60% of millennials and Gen Zs want to work for businesses that care about their staff and have a positive impact on society? Studies have also shown that workplace giving programs are a great way to attract new talent and retain staff.

Every donation you make is deducted from your pre-tax wages, thereby reducing the amount of tax you pay. When you and your workplace choose to donate to Surf Life Saving via Workplace Giving, your donation is automatically deducted from your salary or wages, so there is no need to keep receipts to claim at the end of the financial year. It’s all done as part of your end of financial year income statement that is generated by your employer - another way that we make donating a smooth and easy process.
